Travis Cooke was named lead portfolio manager for the $1.4 billion BlackRock Small Cap Growth Equity Portfolio, among other portfolio manager changes at BlackRock listed in SEC filings on Tuesday.
Mr. Cooke will replace Andrew Thut and Andrew Leger.
Mr. Cooke is a managing director and head of the U.S. portfolio management group for BlackRock's scientific active equity team, which now will manage the small-cap fund.
Also, Robin Batchelor and Poppy Allonby, both managing directors, were named portfolio managers for the $773 million BlackRock Energy & Resources Portfolio and the $384 million BlackRock All-Cap Energy & Resources Portfolio.
They replaced Denis Walsh and Daniel Neumann.
Lawrence Kemp, Phil Ruvinsky and Kathryn Mongelli were named portfolio managers of the $286 million BlackRock Mid-Cap Growth Equity Portfolio. They replace Eileen Leary.
Messrs. Thut, Leger, Walsh and Neumann will be leaving BlackRock, as will Ms. Leary, confirmed Farrell Denby, a spokesman for BlackRock. Further details were unavailable.
