Pace Suburban Bus Service, Arlington Heights, Ill., is searching for an investment consultant for the Regional Transportation Authority 401(k) Plan, according to an RFP posted on its website.
The $138 million plan's provider is Principal Financial Group. The name of the current consultant and whether it is invited to rebid could not be determined by press time.
The 401(k) plan has 14 investment options and a series of target-date funds.
The RFP is available on Pace's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CDT April 10. A hiring date was not specified.
Gary Sapp, Pace's senior contract buyer, declined to answer questions, and Bea Reyna-Hickey, chief financial officer of the Regional Transportation Authority, did not return a telephone call by press time.
