ING Investment Management's U.S. institutional sales chief departs

Greg Tencza has left ING U.S. Investment Management, confirmed spokesman Dana Ripley.

Mr. Tencza was named managing director and head of institutional distribution in early January. Mr. Ripley declined to elaborate, only saying Mr. Tencza is no longer employed at the firm.

Before he was hired at ING, Mr. Tencza was global co-head of institutional and retail sales and marketing at AllianceBernstein; he left that position in January 2012.

Efforts to reach Mr. Tencza were unsuccessful.
