Marcel de Bruijckere joined London-based M&G Investments in Singapore as the firm's Asia-Pacific director of institutional business.
The position is new, according to a spokeswoman. Mr. de Bruijckere will lead a team of four sales and client service professionals and report to Andrew Hendry, managing director of M&G Asia, the spokeswoman said.
Mr. de Bruijckere comes to M&G from Singapore-based management consulting firm Zoom Marketing Services, where he served as an executive consultant for five months, following a one-year stint as head of Asian distribution with LGT Capital Management in Singapore.
Cristof Buri, a spokesman for LGT, couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
