KC Crain has been named group publisher of the Automotive Group at Crain Communications Inc., Pensions & Investments' parent company.
Mr. Crain is a vice president at Detroit-based Crain. The auto group includes such publications as Automotive News and Autoweek.
In addition, Peter Brown, vice president and publisher of Auto News, is retiring effective April 30. Jason Stein, associate publisher and editor of the publication, will succeed Mr. Brown as publisher and will retain his title as editor. n
