Connecticut Office of the State Comptroller, Hartford, is searching for an actuarial consultant for the Connecticut Municipal Employees Retirement System and the Policemen and Firemen Survivors' Benefit Fund, according to an RFP posted on the comptroller's website.
Buck Consultants is the current consultant; it could not be determined by press time if it is invited to rebid.
The municipal plan has about $1.8 billion in assets and the policemen and firemen fund, $24 million.
The RFP is for a four-year contract starting July 1. It is available from the comptroller's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EST Feb. 27. Finalist interviews are scheduled for March 13-14 with a hiring decision on March 21.
