Miranda Poon joined Old Mutual Asset Management as head of institutional sales in Asia for the multiboutique holding company.
The Hong Kong-based position is new, confirmed a U.S.-based OMAM spokesman. An Old Mutual news release said Ms. Poon will “represent the firm’s affiliates … developing institutional business efforts” in the region outside Japan.
Ms. Poon had been director of the institutional advisory group for north Asia at American Century Investments in Hong Kong. Chris Doyle, a spokesman for American Century, said the position will be filled.
