St. Louis Police Retirement System hired Wellington Management to run $70 million in active international equities, confirmed Stephen G. Olish, executive director.
The $650 million pension fund conducted an invitation-only search in September after the termination for performance of incumbent manager Boston Co. Asset Management.
Boston Co. spokesman Mike Dunn said it is company policy not to comment on client matters.
Investment consultant Segal Rogerscasey assisted.
