Gettysburg Borough, Pa., is searching for a bundled provider for its two defined benefit pension plans, confirmed Florence Ford, borough manager.
The borough is seeking a single provider for investment management, investment consulting and plan administrative services for its $4 million Police Pension Plan and $2 million Non-Uniform Pension Plan.
Ms. Ford wrote in an e-mail that the borough is conducting the search because “we felt it was time to see what our options are.” She wrote that the current provider for both plans is a “small local bank,” but would not provide the name or whether the bank is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available from the borough website. Proposals are due Jan. 18. Finalist interviews and selection are tentatively scheduled for the week of Feb. 25.
