Louisiana Department of the Treasury, Baton Rouge, is searching for an investment consultant for the $1.5 billion Millennium Trust Fund, the $1.2 billion Educational Quality Trust Fund and the $552 million Medicaid Trust Fund for the Elderly, confirmed Amber King, spokeswoman for Louisiana state Treasurer John Neely Kennedy.
The search is being conducted because the contract with current consultant UBS Institutional Consulting is set to expire this quarter. UBS is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the treasurer's website. Proposals are due at 4:30 p.m. CST on Feb. 6. Finalist presentations are tentatively scheduled for Feb. 13, with a decision tentatively scheduled for Feb. 20.
