Plymouth County (Mass.) Retirement Association hired Geneva Capital Management to run $35 million in active domestic midcap growth equity, confirmed William Farmer, executive director of the $660 million pension plan.
An RFP was issued in September because pension plan officials were unhappy with the performance of the portfolio's previous manager, Wellington Management, Mr. Farmer said in a telephone interview. Wellington rebid, he added. A spokeswoman for Wellington declined to comment on the termination.
