Holyoke (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an active international small-cap equity manager to run about $5 million, confirmed Raymond Depelteau, chief investment officer.
The $180 million pension fund is open to managers with strategies benchmarked to MSCI ACWI ex-U.S. small-cap or EAFE small-cap indexes. It is a new allocation for the pension fund.
Funding will come from the pension fund's current international and emerging markets equity managers. None will be terminated, Mr. Depelteau wrote in an e-mail.
Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EST on Dec. 12. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
Interested managers can contact Cheryl Dugre, executive director, at [email protected] for a copy of the RFP.
