Measurement Specialties Inc., Hampton, Va., hired FASCore as record keeper of its 401(k) plan, confirmed Jeffrey Kostelni, vice president-finance and treasurer.
The current record keeper is Hartford Retirement Services. Hartford Financial Services Group in September announced it was selling its record-keeping business to MassMutual Financial Group.
A blackout period for plan participants will begin Dec. 19 and end during the week of Jan. 14.
As of Dec. 31, the Savings Plan for Employees of Measurement Specialties Inc. had $23 million in assets.
