James Marrone was named managing director of institutional sales and client service at Palisade Capital Management, confirmed spokeswoman Annette Bronkesh.
Mr. Marrone replaces David Picher, who left to “pursue other opportunities,” Ms. Bronkesh said.
Mr. Marrone will lead Palisade's institutional sales, marketing and client service teams and report to Jeffrey Serkes, COO.
Mr. Marrone most recently was a managing director at multistrategy hedge funds-of-funds manager Archstone Partnerships. David Parker, managing director and COO, was not available by press time for information on Mr. Marrone's replacement.
Palisade Capital has about $3.5 billion in assets under management.
