Vermont Pension Investment Committee, Montpelier, is searching for a proxy-voting service provider, confirmed Stephen Rauh, chairman of the committee.
The contract of the current provider, Institutional Shareholder Services, expires on Dec. 31. The firm is invited to rebid.
Vermont law requires contracts to be rebid at least every five years, wrote Mr. Rauh in an e-mail.
The committee oversees the investments of the $3.3 billion Vermont State Retirement Systems, Montpelier.
The RFP is available from the Vermont state treasurer's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EST Nov. 20. A decision is expected at the Dec. 18 committee meeting.
