Mihail Dobrinov was named head of emerging markets equities at Principal Global Investors, confirmed spokesman Adam Lackey.
Mr. Dobrinov will retain his title as portfolio manager of the Principal International Emerging Markets fund.
He replaces Michael Reynal, who left to be co-head of the new emerging markets equities team at RS Investments. Mr. Reynal will lead the team with Michael Ade, who was a portfolio manager focusing on emerging markets and Asian equity strategies at Principal, according to an RS news release. Mr. Ade will not be replaced, according to Mr. Lackey.
RS spokeswoman Nadia Rehman could not be immediately reached for comment.
