Essex Regional Retirement System, Danvers, Mass., hired Dahab Associates as investment consultant and Stone Consulting Group as actuarial consultant, confirmed Charles Kostro, executive director of the $270 million pension fund.
The Dahab hiring is pending negotiations, Mr. Kostro said in an e-mail.
Dahab replaces Segal Rogerscasey, which rebid. Stone Consulting replaces Segal Co., which rebid. Mr. Kostro said Stone Consulting's proposal was considerably less costly.
The actuary RFP was issued in August and the consultant RFP in September.
