Glynn County Defined Benefit Pension Plan, Brunswick, Ga., is searching for an investment manager and trustee, confirmed Orah L. Reed, county human resources director.
The $64 million pension fund is issuing an RFP because the contracts of investment manager Marshwinds Advisory and trustee Synovus Trust are due to expire Dec. 31, according to Ms. Reed. Both firms are eligible to rebid.
The county will consider hiring two firms, or a single firm for all services.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EST on Dec. 4. A decision is expected that month; a one-year contract is to begin Jan. 1 with the option of four one-year extensions.
