Gwynne M. Murphy was named a director at real estate investment management firm Clarion Partners, confirmed spokesman Michael MacMillan, in an e-mail.
It is a new position. Ms. Murphy will have management responsibility for key investor relationships at Clarion.
Ms. Murphy was a director at alternative investment management firm Aetos Capital. Christopher B. Taube, managing director at Aetos, could not be reached by press time.
