Thomas Mueller, chief accountant for the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County, was elected president of the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators, confirmed Tracy Tucker, NAGDCA's director.
Mr. Mueller, who had been NAGDCA's vice president, was elected to a one-year term at NAGDCA's annual conference Sept. 29-Oct. 3 in San Diego.
He is also committee chairman for the $143 million Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County Employees' Deferred Compensation Plan, Whittier, Calif.
NAGDCA's immediate past president is Julia Durand, director of defined contribution solutions for the $152.5 billion California State Teachers' Retirement System, West Sacramento.
