Nickol Hackett was named executive director of the Cook County Annuity & Benefit Fund, Chicago, effective Dec. 1, according to recently released minutes of the $7.7 billion pension fund's Sept. 12 board meeting.
Ms. Hackett, the fund's chief investment officer, replaces Daniel Degnan, who is running unopposed in November to become a Cook County circuit court judge.
Further information was not included in the minutes. Ms. Hackett did not return a telephone call or respond to an e-mail by press time.
