Sharon, Pa., is searching for an investment consultant for its police and firefighters pension plans, confirmed city manager Scott Andrejchak.
The current investment consultant for the Sharon Police Pension Plan and Fire Pension Plan, with a combined $10 million in assets, is Merrill Lynch, which notified the city that it would no longer be providing those services for municipalities.
The RFP is available on the city's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT Oct. 31. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
