Detroit Transportation Corp. issued an RFP for actuarial services for its $8 million defined benefit plan, confirmed Pamela L. Crump, procurement manager.
Ms. Crump said in an interview that the RFP has been issued as part of regular rebidding of service contractors of the pension plan. Mercer is the incumbent actuary and may rebid.
The RFP is due Oct. 9 and is available from the company's website.
