Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, Columbus, made two new direct hedge fund investments totaling $170 million, confirmed spokesman Michael Pramik.
The $76.4 billion pension fund committed $120 million to Graham Global Investment Fund-Discretionary 6V, a discretionary global macro fund managed by Graham Capital Management, and $50 million to Scopia PX, a long/short equity fund.
The commitments bring the pension fund's total direct hedge fund investments to $2.35 billion.
