Rupert Brindley was named managing director in J.P. Morgan Asset Management's global multiasset group, according to a J.P. Morgan spokesman.
Based in London, Mr. Brindley will be responsible for leading the global multiasset group's investment solutions business in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Information on whether the position is new was not available by press time.
Mr. Brindley was chief strategist for Mercer's dynamic derisking solutions division. He was replaced by Niall O'Sullivan, partner, spokeswoman Ria Rana said.
