Wethersfield, Conn., is searching for an investment consultant for its Pension Trust Fund, Firefighters Pension Fund and new OPEB Trust Fund, with combined assets of $71 million, confirmed Susan L. Smith, town finance director.
Town officials want the same investment consultant for all three of the town's funds, Ms. Smith said in a telephone interview. Fiduciary Investment Advisors, the current consultant of the pension trust fund and firefighters pension fund, is invited to rebid.
The RFQ is available from Wethersfield's website. Proposals are due at 4:30 p.m. EDT on Oct. 5. Finalist interviews are scheduled for the week of Oct. 15 with a contract start date of Nov. 5.
