University of Washington, Seattle, is searching for an active domestic long-only smidcap equity manager for its $2.2 billion endowment, according to an RFQ posted on the university's website.

Proposals are due at 3 p.m. PDT on Oct. 12. A final selection is expected on or before Nov. 9.
