City of Regina, Saskatchewan, is searching for an auditor for four pension and long-term disability plans, confirmed Lori-Ann Litzenberger, purchasing agent.
Deloitte is the current auditor for all four plans and is invited to rebid.
The city is looking for one auditor for all four plans — the C$890 million (US$907 million) Regina Civic Employees’ Superannuation & Benefit Plan, C$231 million Regina Police Service Pension Plan, C$29 million Regina Civic Employees’ Long Term Disability Plan, and C$7.7 million Casual Employees’ Superannuation & Elected Officials Money Purchase Pension Plan.
The RFP is available on the city’s purchasing website at www.regina.ca/business/tenders/view-tender/d75aff81-01cb-11e2-a893-5fc2fb6e5183. The contract is for five years, starting with the financial statements for the year ending Dec. 31, 2012.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT Oct. 10. Presentations will take place the week of Oct. 22, with a decision expected on Nov. 10.
