Panama City (Fla.) Retirement Plan and Trust for the General Employee Pension Fund is searching for an investment consultant, confirmed Becky Barnes, city purchasing manager.
The $6 million 401(a) plan's current consultant is Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Consulting Group Institutional Services, which is eligible to rebid, according to Ms. Barnes.
The firm's contract with the city expires Dec. 31.
The RFP is available at www.panamacity-fl.tv/services/purchasing/bid_requests.aspx.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on Oct. 3. A three-year contract is scheduled to begin on Jan. 1, 2013.
