Norfolk County Retirement System, Canton, Mass., is searching for a venture capital manager to run up to $20 million, said Kathleen Kiely-Becchetti, executive director.
Officials at the $607 million pension fund will consider only those managers with at least two prior funds that pursue the same strategy as the one proposed, or funds of funds, provided the firm has managed at least five prior venture capital funds of funds, according to the RFP.
Investment consultant Wainwright Investment Counsel is assisting. The RFP is available on Wainwright's website. Registration is required.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT Sept. 25. A hiring date has not been determined, Ms. Kiely-Becchetti said.
