Idaho Endowment Fund Investment Board, Boise, hired NFJ Investment Group to manage $70 million in active international value equities, confirmed Larry Johnson, manager of investments.
The board, which oversees $1.3 billion, terminated Tradewinds Global Investors from a similar-style portfolio in May because of personnel changes at the firm.
The board's investment consultant, Callan Associates, conducted the invitation-only search. The other finalists were First Eagle Investment Management and MFS Investment Management.
