North Kansas City (Mo.) Police and Firefighters Retirement Fund is searching for an investment consultant, confirmed Glenn L. Ladd, city police chief and member of the $39 million pension fund's board of trustees.
The pension fund issues a request for qualifications about every five years, Mr. Ladd said in a telephone interview. The current consultant, Russell Investments, is invited to rebid.
Responses are due at 2 p.m. CDT on Sept. 20. A timetable for a decision will be determined at a special board meeting Aug. 28, Mr. Ladd said.
