Tony Glickman was named senior vice president, global client solutions, at Northern Trust's corporate and institutional services unit, confirmed spokesman John O'Connell.
It is a new position.
Mr. Glickman will report to Griff Ehrenstrom, senior vice president and head of the global client solutions group.
The position was “created to take advantage of the integration of our global custody platform with the hedge fund administration and services technology brought to Northern Trust in July 2011 with the acquisition of Omnium from Citadel LLC,” Mr. O'Connell wrote in an e-mail.
Mr. Glickman was head of risk services for GlobeOp Financial Services. A spokesman for GlobeOp did not provide information on a replacement by press time.
