Plymouth County (Mass.) Retirement Association is searching for a passive domestic large-cap value equity manager to run about 5.5%, or $36.3 million, of the plan's assets, according to an RFP posted on the website of Wainwright Investment Counsel, the retirement system's investment consultant.
The strategy should be benchmarked to the Russell 1000 Value index or a comparable index, according to the RFP. The $660 million system will give preference to commingled strategies, but separate accounts will also be considered.
The RFP is available on Wainwright's website.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT Aug. 31. A hiring date has not been determined.
William Farmer, executive director, and Jeff Fabrizio, the plan's consultant at Wainwright, did not respond to requests for additional information.
