Milwaukee County Employees' Retirement System, Milwaukee, plans to issue an RFP for an active international equity manager.
The size and style of the account could not be learned by press time.
The board might wait to authorize issuing the RFP until its Sept. 19 meeting, said Daniel Gopalan, fiscal officer assistant of the $1.7 billion system.
Funding would come from a reallocation, said Patricia Van Kampen, trustee.
Marquette Associates, the system's investment consultant, will assist in the search.
