Olds College, Olds, Alberta, is searching for a money manager to run all of its C$23.8 million (US$23.4 million) long-term investment portfolio, confirmed Stewart MacNabb, CFO.
Incumbent BMO Nesbitt Burns is invited to rebid.
The long-term investment portfolio, which consists of endowment assets and cash from the general operating fund, invests in equity, fixed income and income trusts, Mr. MacNabb said in a telephone interview.
Almost C$20 million of the portfolio is in Canadian assets.
Proposals must address projected currency fluctuations for foreign investments, Mr. MacNabb said.
The RFP is available on the Alberta Purchasing Connection, a provincial procurement website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. MDT Aug. 31. A hiring decision is expected with two weeks of the deadline.
