Royal Bank of Scotland Group Pension Fund, Croydon, England, hired Hastings Funds Management to run £750 million ($1.2 billion) in core infrastructure assets in the U.K. and other developed countries, according to a Hastings news release.
The pension fund's infrastructure investments could include both equity and debt assets, according to the news release.
Robert Waugh, chief investment officer at the £23.8 billion pension fund, and Ray Martin, head of group pensions at RBS, were out of the office and unable to be reached.
