Tavares, Fla., is searching for its first investment consultant for the city's three retirement plans, confirmed John Rumble, city purchasing manager.
The plans — the City of Tavares Police Officers' Pension Plan, City of Tavares Firefighters' Pension Plan and City of Tavares General Employees Pension Plan — had a combined $10.9 million in assets as of Sept. 30, according to the city's most recent annual report.
The RFQ is available by contacting Mr. Rumble at [email protected] Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT Aug. 2. A hiring date was not specified in the RFQ.
