Mary Ann Cloyd was named leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Center for Board Governance, a resource for corporate directors on emerging trends in managing risks and promoting better practices, according to the auditing and consulting firm.
Ms. Cloyd, a PwC partner, succeeds John Barry, who retired from PwC June 30. Her appointment takes effect July 1.
Ms. Cloyd, who was a member of the group, leads a team of six other members. Her previous spot at the center isn’t being filled.
