Hillary Bolton joined Janus Capital Group as vice president and head of consultant relations on the institutional team.
Also, Tamara Doi was named vice president and client executive for the western region of the U.S. institutional business, according to a news release on the firm's website.
They will both report to Susan Oh, senior vice president and head of the firm's U.S. institutional group, the release said.
Ms. Bolton most recently was co-head of the defined contribution research committee in the U.S. and a member of the global DC team at Towers Watson. Ms. Doi was director of business development for institutions and consultants at Lee Munder Capital Group, according to the news release.
Ed Emerman, Towers Watson spokesman, could not provide information about Ms. Bolton's replacement by press time. Greg Mulready, director of sales and marketing at Lee Munder, did not return a telephone call by press time.
Janus has $164 billion in assets under management as of March 31.
