Milwaukee County Employees' Retirement System hired Adams Street Partners and Siguler Guff to run $40 million each in private equity funds of funds, confirmed Dale Yerkes, fiscal officer.
The $1.7 billion pension fund issued an RFP in December. As of Sept. 30, the system's actual allocation to private equity was 1.6%, with a target of 3%.
Separately, the pension fund hired Geneva Capital Management to run about $40 million in active domestic midcap growth equities.
An RFP was issued in February following the termination in December of Reinhart Partners, which ran a similar portfolio.
Marquette Associates assisted with all of the hirings.
