Mark Bourgeois was named president and CEO at global placement agent and advisory firm Atlantic-Pacific Capital, confirmed spokeswoman Michelle Brooks.
He replaces James Manley as CEO; Mr. Manley will continue as chairman. The president title is new, said Ms. Brooks.
The changes are effective at the end of the month, she said.
Mr. Bourgeois was CEO of the Americas for Credit Suisse’s asset management group. His responsibilities will be taken on by managing directors Alastair Cairns and Charles Shaffer, confirmed spokeswoman Katherine Herring.
Mr. Cairns, head of strategy and product development for asset management, will add the title of head of the Americas.
Mr. Shaffer, currently co-head of the firm’s transition management business, will be head of Americas distribution in asset management. Fred Fogg, director in transition management, will assume Mr. Shaffer’s previous duties.
