Woburn (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for a manager to run $7 million in domestic midcap growth equities, according to an RFP posted on the website of Wainwright Investment Counsel, consultant to the $100 million pension fund.
Proposals can be for active or passive strategies indexed to the Russell Midcap Growth index or a comparable index, according to the RFP.
The RFP is available on Wainwright Investment's website. Proposals are due July 23. A hiring date was not specified.
The retirement system referred all questions to the consultant. Gus Aristizabal, director of research at Wainwright, did not respond to inquiries by press time.
