Plano (Texas) Retirement Security Plan is searching for a money manager to run the $87.6 million defined benefit plan, according to an RFP posted on BidSync, a government procurement website.
The plan's investment manager has full discretion on investment decisions, according to the plan's investment policy.
The contract is for three years with two optional one-year renewals.
Incumbent manager U.S. Trust is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on BidSync. Proposals are due at 3:30 p.m. CDT July 9. A hiring date was not specified.
Darlene McAndrew, retirement administrator, referred all questions to the city's purchasing department. Sharron Mason, senior buyer, said all questions had to be submitted through BidSync.
