Sidley Austin LLP, Chicago, hired Schwab Retirement Plan Services as record keeper for three defined contribution plans, according to a posting on the law firm's retirement plans website.
Schwab replaces ING Institutional Plan Services.
The three plans had a combined $841 million in assets as of Dec. 31, 2010, according to the law firm's most recent 5500 filings. The plans have the same 16 investment options as well as a self-directed brokerage account. The investment lineup will not change with the transition.
A blackout period for participants begins Monday and ends the week of July 8.
