Sanjay Yodh joined alternatives ETF firm ProShares as head of institutional sales.
The position is new. Mr. Yodh will “build and lead a team of seasoned professionals to further educate institutional investors, such as pension funds, endowments and hedge funds, on how alternative ETFs can benefit their portfolios,” according to a ProShares news release.
Mr. Yodh was managing director, institutional business, at Guggenheim Partners, ProShares spokesman Howard Monaghan said. Michelle Lee, a spokeswoman for Guggenheim, couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
Mr. Yodh will also open a New York office for ProShares, its first office outside of its Bethesda, Md., headquarters.
