Timothy Bellman was named head of global research at Invesco Real Estate, confirmed spokesman Bill Hensel.
Mr. Bellman replaces Mark Roberts, who left in June 2011.
Mr. Bellman will be based in Dallas and will join the firm in early July, according to Mr. Hensel. He most recently was global head of research and strategy at ING Real Estate Management in London.
Separately, Claiborne Johnston was named client portfolio manager, a new position. Mr. Johnston previously was managing director at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing. His responsibilities were assumed by Michele Aronson, managing director, according to spokesman Matt Burkhard.
