Florida Workers' Compensation Joint Underwriting Association's investment committee recommended the state employers' insurance association hire Prime Advisors as investment manager, confirmed Laura S. Torrence, executive director.
The Orlando, Fla.-based association's board will vote on the hire June 13. An RFP was issued in April.
The current manager, Cutwater Asset Management, was invited to rebid.
The selected firm will manage about $75 million of the association's $97 million in assets, according to Ms. Torrence.
Other finalists were Madison Scottsdale and General Re-New England Asset Management.
