Alaska Permanent Fund Corp., Juneau, is searching for the $40 billion sovereign wealth fund's first private markets investment officer, confirmed spokeswoman Laura Achee.
The officer will coordinate the fund's $5 billion private market co-investment program, which comprises private equity, infrastructure and other illiquid strategies. The position will be overseen by Maria Tsu, director of private markets.
Ms. Achee said the investment officer will also help implement the fund's new co-investment program approved by the board last fall.
“The position will provide analytical support for existing and prospective private investments in funds or portfolio companies; represent APFC as a co-investor or as a limited partners on advisory boards; and participate in due diligence assignments and investment committees,” according to the job posting.
