Alan McKenzie was named a director and product specialist in Barclays' institutionally focused Funds and Advisory business.
The position is new. Mr. McKenzie will report to Neal J. Howe, managing director and head of funds and advisory distribution, North America.
Mr. McKenzie was a managing director and head of portfolio strategy at Guggenheim Partners. Michelle Lee, a spokeswoman for Guggenheim, didn't immediately have information on whether Mr. McKenzie's position would be filled.
